GRAIL Art Gallery Presents: René Jacobsen

René is a Danish artist living near Copenhagen. René started out as a teacher, when he could he would draw things like animals for his kids. From his love of drawing and photography he kickstarted his career as an artist. GRAIL has gotten the opportunity to display one of his works inside of our store.

Here at GRAIL we really connected with the story of René. René decided to pursue his career as an artist with all of uncertainty that comes with it. Just like we dove into the unknown to open up our store, while sharing amazing memories with you guys along the way.

The works René makes can take anywhere from several weeks to half a year. He has decided to make a painting especially for us which pictures the legend Johan Cruyff.

GRAIL will be taking a trip back to 2018 to the times where our location was still an art gallery. This will be the first installment of the GRAIL art gallery, so make sure to come have a look at René’s new temporary addition to our store.
